Dr Lucol, Baez, & Salem are very good. As is the midwife Alison Roof. My complaint is about the one who works for Nuvance at the hospital delivering babies named Dr Finch who should be fired. She was beyond awful & made my birthing experience extremely traumatic. She is also unnecessarily rough. Dr Bussey & Lord-Rollins were great. Get rid of Dr Finch. Also the receptionist at Poughkeepsie is so sweet & bubbly
I tried calling today to reschedule my appointment. I was told there’s no availability for 2 months and said i would call back. I then tried calling back and it was not connecting. I then received a voicemail from the office about how i was being rude and need to stop calling. This is who youre supposed to be comfortable calling and going to yet I’m getting calls from MY own doctors office that I am being rude.
I have to say that when i got in everyone has been very sweet. I love my doula and Dr. Salem. But when it comes to getting my results, in have been given the run aroundI called almost a week ago and was told he would not be in till a certain day, okay it called back after not answer nothing. I finally spoke with a wonderful women rosa who stated oh today is his first day back. Okay well was told almost a week ago he would be back. And now that I have left all of these voicemails with nurses in that back why could not one call and tell me this.im waiting on results that have me very nervous. You think they would be a little more understanding to this and got sorry we just didnt have this full schedule for when he is coming back or say hey took off for longer. Not, not call me back for days on end
Staff was completely inconsiderate to my wife. None of the staff was properly wearing a mask (not a big deal in 2023), however after voicing her concerns that none of the tests that we were told were going to be run from our last appointment were run (Dr checked and tests were ordered) , and that an ultra sound would not be able to be completed to check a health condition of the child (main purpose of the appointment) because they neglected to schedule one after telling us that they did. It was at this point that Dr. McGinnis decided to harp on my wife (now red, sweating and overheating from frustration) about not wearing a mask properly. After it was clear to me that nothing was going to done about the tests and Dr. McGinnis continued berating my already frustrated wife. I told my wife we arent going to be able to have a conversation with this Dr. because she is only concerned about the mask (I was wearing my mask properly for the record). Once I said that Dr. McGinnis seemed offended (not sure if it was a miscommunication because I had my mask on and she couldnt hear me correctly). Dr. McGinnis began to raise her voice at me because of what I had just said to my wife.A short while after this, a staff member (not wearing a mask) knocked and cracked the door to check on the Dr. A short while after that Dr. McGinnis left the room and said she would look into getting an ultrasound. In the hallway we could overhear Dr. McGinnis gossiping with all of the staff about what had just happened joking about having them come in and get physical with us if needed. (I found this extremely unprofessional and offensive).A couple mins later while me and my wife are waiting to see if they can get her in for an ultrasound, security knocks on the door and asks to speak with me. I asked why, and said Id rather stay here with my wife if its possible. I guess they did not see a reason for any actions because they left and did not return. (needless to say security showing up upset my already very upset wife even further).Thankfully they were able to get us in for an ultrasound and everything is looking good for the baby now.Fast forward a couple days, my wife calls for our next appointment and the woman who answered the phone tells her that the notes left by the Dr stated that patient left before getting a script for a follow up test (we left when we were told thats all for the day and we would see them next time). Notes also stated that we would be looking for care at other places going forward (although that is probably true now, that was just a lie and was never said). My wife is already almost 7 months pregnant and this is not my first child, so I have experience with how the process looks and feels when done properly. The level of unprofessionalism that my wife and I experienced during our visits is unparalleled. I would strongly urge anyone to looks elsewhere for care.
I felt the need to leave a review since all the ones here are negative and I had an entirely different experience. Parking and finding the location was super self explanatory, I just popped the address in to Waze and parked in lot E right next to the building. The sign is incorrect in the lobby but they are located in suite 3100. This was my first time coming here and the check in was punctual and as expected. My appointment started right on time which amazed me seeing as it was 11pm and not the first one of the day (seems there’s always a wait later in the day.) The receptionist was friendly and even walked me to the bathroom to show me where it was. The nurse was very professional and Dr. McGuiness exceeded my expectations. She was very kind and explained everything she was doing and I felt she was thorough and very well educated. I will be continuing my Gyno checkups here. Thank you Nuvance for the excellent service.
The only staff members that care about me having a safe pregnancy are the receptionist. The doctors at at this location do not care about the patients suffering during pregnancy or having complications due to their negligence.
Very disappointed with this practice and dr. E. Lucal after waiting months to see her she cancelled my appt and gave me a date that I wont be able to make due to work. I Specifically ask for a date that I wasnt gonna be working, And now they reschedule the appointment for late November incredible they couldnt accommodate me because shes completely booked. So screw me.😡
Today I had an appointment at 1:00p. I knew that I had to be at the appointment a few minutes early, because for one I am new to the area, and two because I knew being a new patient i had to fill out paperwork... I literally arrived on the premises at 1237pm. Im now trying to find the building and my GPS keeps taking me where all the construction is being done. I then pull over to contact the office to notify them that I would be a little late but no one picked up... I called 3 more times then finally decided to leave a message @ 1257pm.. (its lunch time at this point) I called back at 100pm and a very nice lady lead me to the building in which I thanked her and hung up the phone .. It is now 110pm and I am now trying to find parking( very frustrating) I ended up parking a mile away from the doctors office... I finally make it up to the receptionist desk(123pm) and spoke with the lady with dark brown hair with glasses. She apologies and say that Dr Lucal has a 15min late grace period and after that she doesnt see anyone because she has other patients... I am furious at this point, and explain to her the troubles I been through just to get to that office... she didnt seem to care that I was new to the area and that I called and left a voicemail stating I was lost and maybe running a little late... She did offer me to reschedule, but I refused because I felt like they werent being considerate enough to see that I was a new patient and I did attempt to call, plus leave a voicemail.... It was a waste of my time and energy...
Making an appointment here is impossible. I’ve called multiple times over the last few months to get my yearly exam scheduled and am told they “don’t have the schedule yet” every single time I call and to call back. I understand being booked out but to never have the schedule when I call and to be told to keep calling back? I don’t recommend this practice at all.
These goons blocked me on Facebook for stating the facts. Ill say it again. I was mistreated by an awful employee, nobody cared, and their computers were involved in a phishing scam, because the workers were sloppy. I hope my information is not on the dark web now. (I was seeing a proctologist, not a gynecologist, but he was located in the same suite). Somebody needs to fire Radika Jordan.
Great experience with this office for my last pregnancy. All drs are quality and professional. Dr Lucal is a favorite.
They are not accommodating and do not communicate.
