Very professional office. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The PA Stephen was excellent. A very good experience although it was difficult to find a phone number to call back with questions after results of testing was in. Came home later to a helpful message with a return phone number. Would have been more helpful if they had called my cell so I would have the number faster.
We’ve used this urgent care facility a number of times, for myself and my kids. This is one of the best urgent care I have been to. Very easy and quick to book a same day appointment, we never have to wait long to be put into a room, or to be seen by the doctors, and we’ve always had a thorough response and solution from the doctors, from prescribing the right medicine, and even returning my messages, or following up with my the next day, to treating and then sending my son to emergency and making sure he gets seen and through quickly. I cannot say better things about the place and people who work here.
This would be a 5 star review if it were not for all aspects of trying to communicate with the facility. 1) I tried to make an in person appointment over the phone (automated-there was no choice of a person to speak with-if there was and I somehow missed it-they certainly didn’t make it easy to find) . After spending time answering the automated questionnaire,I ended up on a loop and was continuously referred back to the previous question. So I got in my car and drove to the UC to find no patients waiting and I was seen right away. The PA and MD were both very good and they get the 5 stars. I was told that I would find out about my PCR test the next day. I did get a call but didn’t get to the phone soon enough because I was sick and asleep at the time. I called back within 30 seconds and immediately got the “no one is here to take your call “ message but that a team member will call you back shortly if you leave a message. So I did, several over two days-and always got the someone will call you back shortly message. I finally drove back to the UC and got the results immediately. The interface system is terrible.
Staff was efficient and extremely helpful. Dr. Shields was very warm and compassionate and immediately made arrangements for follow up tests at another facility. She later called me to give me test results as well as having a phone number available with doctors in my geographic area that could treat my issue.
Dr Ike is an outstanding & professional physician! He ensured I received an xray promptly at the Elwood office and within an hour of the xray he called me to let me know my results! So much appreciated to know that my wrist was not fractured.Prior to my xray, Dr Ike thoroughly explained what the process would be & if needed, hes ensure I was scheduled for an emergent ortho appt.Thank you so much for your reassuring and calming bedside manner.
So I have to say if I had to go back to a walk in clinic again, I would definitely choose this one. Dr. Steele and her assistant Marissa were so attentive and tight on point with everything. I loved the care I received.
I registered online and was seen even prior to my scheduled appointment time. The staff was kind, professional and thorough and my diagnosis and subsequent treatment was efficient and appropriate. Special thanks to medical technician Marisa and to Dr. Steele..they were both fantastic.
Dr. Steele was a wonderful caregiver for my eye injury. She found the scratch quickly and gave me my plan of care concisely and accurately. I am totally healed now. Thank you.
I went to Urgent Care after not feeling well for several days.Everything about the visit was great. No complaints whatsoever
I just love the fact that you are right here in our town and very easily accessible.I can’t even get in to see my own Dr and your guys always seem to be able to accommodate me.Thank you.
Great PA. Thoughtful and thorough. Aide who drew blood, singing and humming through 3 sticks in two arms. Not good.
Close to home, easy to make appointment online and very friendly staff, nurse and doctor. Seen quickly by nurse and doctor. Will definitely use again.
This place is a scam. Their billing coordinator has charged me multiple times for a single visit. I am fully covered and have never had this problem. Very unprofessional!
Nice, clean office. Everyone-the receptionist, the physician assistant and the doctor were all professional, efficient and friendly. The time I was in, they were very busy. Quite a few people waiting to be seeing. But the process was orderly and waiting wasn’t bad. I would use the facility again and recommend it to family and friends.
I love this urgent care. I’ve used them a few times. Fast, efficient, & really friendly staff.
We were first-time visitors, so we had to get established in your system. The receptionist was helpful and accommodating. The medical staff was attentive and thorough and we left with a diagnosis and prescriptions to get us better.
This place is probably perfectly adequate if you aren’t looking for URGENT care. If you’re looking for whenever you can get it care, then definitely give this place a shot. I’m currently waiting for my 12:30 pm appointment at 2:04 pm. I’ve been informed this is because of an urgent procedure, and one would have to assume a total and complete lack of proper staffing. Why a procedure would totally derail any urgent care facilities ability to see other patients is beyond my comprehension. Perhaps in the height of winter and cold/flu/Covid/RSV season Northwell could invest in having more than one doctor on staff at their urgent care. I will not be coming back.
Honestly the worst Urgent care to go to. Every single time I leave I end up more sick and never better. You’re basically throwing money away. I have bad asthma and today I went for a nasty sinus infection I’ve been battling for little over a week. The doctor did not listen to my lungs at all. I have never met a doctor that is seeing an asthmatic patient that is sick and does not listen to their lungs….. on top of that she told me I need to be sick for at least 2 weeks before an antibiotic is prescribed. She also recommended Sudafed even though my heart rate is already elevated? The last time this happened I ended up going to this urgent care twice being prescribed medications that indeed did not make me any better and having to see my regular doctor who was able to put me on meds that actually made me better after 3 weeks of being ill and going to urgent care. Avoid at all costs, and wait for your regular doctor to see you, this place will only make you worse!
We should have a ZERO STAR option…I went in on crutches needing an X-ray for a broken toe and since they openly advertise “on-site X-ray” EVERYWHERE I hobbled in only to be told immediately they don’t actually employ an X-ray technician?! I was told to go somewhere else. WHAT HAPPENED TO CARE. They couldn’t care less! Oh and my toe was very broken, this X-ray was NOT obtained from this sham of an “urgent careless”
Dr Eich was great.. explained everything to me very thoroughly. But only one of the two prescriptions was ever called in. I called FOUR times, and left four voice-mails, because no one ever answers the phone, and no one ever called me back. Never got my Rx, and still feel awful. I see they do respond to bad reviews though. Maybe I should leave my phone number here
I had the first apple at 8:15am; made the night before.Parking and the office space was awesome. Signing in was easy once I realized it was by machine and not a person. The staff was over the top. The only delay we faced was waiting for the X-Ray technician to arrive. This gave me time to view my emails.
I made an appointment online. Got there and was in an examination room within a minute. The Doctor came, told me his diagnosis, I asked him questions, he answered everything and explained the prescription to me as well. Better than my primary Care Physician. Fast, professional and convenient.
The first few times I came in it was ok. I couldnt get an appointment with my gp so I went in with pelvic pain, told the Dr I passed a gallstone. Told me it wasnt possible based on my pain. Sent me for imaging, my insurance requires a refferal, the Dr said they handle it. Two days later I call to see if there was and approval the imaging center has no record. Called the Urgent care, the person I spoke to said I have to call the insurance. Spent 20 minutes on the phone with my insurance, they said the provider has to submit it. Called the urgent care back, put me on hold then said to go to a different imaging center? Which solves nothing. Called the new imaging center to confirm it would be requested through insurance, they tell me they dont take my insurance. Called up a family friend whos a Dr, showed them a picture and they confirmed it was gallstones and said my symptoms were possible and to go to the ER to get the scan. The staff is nice but its not properly.
Quick service. Doctor informative and caring. Left satisfied that my concerns were handled.
I had a virtual visit. It took a while by the time a receptionist came on to go over vitals and discuss symptoms and medications. Then after another 15 minutes until PA came on screen. But once we connected she was very efficient and professional.
Dr Steele was lovely and supportive. Her assistant was very thorough.
Staff are pleasant, helpful, and give good service. I came in for a PPD test. Had it done in 2 visits and it went smoothly. Im not sure what their service might look like for someone whos actually sick or injured, it seems other people are complaining when they come in for these reasons, but I was satisfied with the care I received.
Saw two Doctors Thursday and Friday for an upper respiratory infection. My symptoms were much worse on Friday. Both doctors were professional and understanding to my needs. Very helpful. Summer colds are never fun but thanks to them I am on the mend.
Dr Eichenstein took my concerns seriously and ordered further testing that potentially saved me from a major health scare.
Had an emergency and the front desk and doctor were fantastic and very helpful. Dr Jenn Steele was extremely professional and explained the process and medical condition She was great as was the nurse and receptionist
If I could give this urgent care zero stars I would. The front staff middle aged woman is extremely rude and unprofessional. There is no organization what so ever. Please expect to be waiting over an hour even with an appointment. The practitioner and MA here are extremely overworked and have little to no support staff.
Stay away from that place! All these one star reviews are there for a reason. So I have an infection and my regular doctor isn’t available for the day, and I was thinking - what the heck, let me pay extra just to get my medication before I get much worse. Also there is a confirmed case of sinus and ear infection in my family, diagnosed by a REAL doctor , currently treated with antibiotics prescribed by the real doctor (all of which was mentioned to the person who saw me at the Urgent Care and pretty much ignored it). I spent close to an hour this morning clearing out my sinuses, nose, and throat, just so that I could breathe, really gross stuff, not just clear liquid that I get from allergies. My head hurts, I am dizzy, I get a little hot, then I get some chills. My nose is congested, my throat hurts. Nothing too horrible, but I would really love to nip it in the bud. At the Urgent Care I am seen by a dark haired lady in glasses. She pretty much ignores my info about the fact that this is my first day of symptoms, and my condition follows the same pattern as that of my family member — which means a possible ear infection , and Jeez, my ear infections can go really wrong, they have taken me to ER before. Anyway, the lady offers steroids, because I don’t have fever, to treat the symptoms, — and tells me that they won’t treat the cause, but they will treat the symptoms. And she won’t prescribe antibiotics because the infection isn’t bacterial (how does she know?)Oh, she told me I can come back when my condition is worse. As if I will ever go to that place again!I will be seeing my doctor on Friday I guess.
Beware! They said they accepted my insurance with no payment as my insurance would cover it. Been trying to deal with this for hours. Correction: hours became months before they dropped it entirely as the bill had gone to collections and there finance department was forced to eat their screw up
The doctor saw me immediately with no waiting and explained everything clearly. I left feeling relieved.
Very good practice. Wonderful staff and Dr. Steele was excellent.
This is the best Urgent care I have been to. I get tested every two weeks and this was my first time to this location. From the person who greeted me at the door with a smile to the person at the desk who was busy but made me feel welcomed. The PA on staff was warm and friendly and the person who took my Covid test was also very nice and friendly. The entire staff today were all wonderful and it was a pleasure to go here!Highly recommend this location!
From the receptionist , nurse and doctor they could not have been more helpful and precessional, could not have been happier with everything, thank you so much
Seen very fast. Dr listened to me and her eval plus recommendations were clear and made sense.
Staff members are always kind, compassionate, helpful, informative, professional, supportive and extremely efficient. Facility is always spotless. Never have to wait for an appointment.
This week I was seen by 2 incompetent practioners for tonsillitis that was so mis-treated. My first visit was with PA Jennifer Steele. She was very hesitant to help me, however I will say the initial nurse was the only staff member that seemed to have any empathy. They swapped me for COVID and strep and said to call back if I couldn’t swallow in a few days. I found this strange but trusted the medical professionals.48 hours later, at my second visit I saw PA Christina Stillwell. She was extremely rude and not helpful at all. She wouldn’t honor Steele’s word or even call her. She insisted she had to “re-diagnose” me. Despite having textbook tonsillitis, she yet did another COVID and strep test, and tried to send me on my way. Stillwell has no compassion or basic knowledge. She is doing the patients and the owners of this facility a disservice. I now will have another medical bill for a very unnecessary COVID and strep test.I then had to make a 3rd appointment with a specialist to get the proper care, something that could have been handled the way urgent care used to pre-pandemic. From my two most recent experiences it seems your location is a COVID mill. It’s hard not to question your facility’s morality and if it’s pushing COVID testing for governmental funding. It’s is even more of a sad realization that Steele and Stillwell are incapable of anything but COVID testing. I will never recommend anyone to return to your urgent care and I will ensure my voice is heard.
One would think that after the numerous 1 star reviews things might change, but that doesn’t appear to be the case. My first experience was six years ago when I was misdiagnosed and almost died. I was diagnosed with bronchitis and told to go home and rest. When I went to my own doctor the very next morning, she listened to my lungs for two seconds and diagnosed me with double pneumonia.Fast forward to yesterday when, against all of my better judgment, I went back because I wasn’t feeling well. Unfortunately, my primary doctor did not have any appointments and suggested I go to the center. To start, I was quite literally the only patient in the entire place, yet they put me into a room and had me sit there for 20 minutes before the doctor walked in. As I was waiting, I could hear her outside sitting at the desk casually talking to the receptionist. 😳 They told me I tested COVID negative on the molecular rapid, and that I have bronchitis (starting to sound like a familiar theme!). This morning I began receiving alerts from the department of health that I actually tested positive for COVID. I called the central number 4 times trying to get in touch with the actual clinic. When I finally did, I was promised that someone would be getting back to me very quickly with an explanation. It’s now 10 PM, they closed at 5 PM, no call back. Awful. Literally the worst place to go if you’re not feeling well and are looking for an accurate diagnosis. Visit any other walk-in clinic, and I can almost guarantee the treatment will be better.
Don’t go here!! I should’ve trusted the bad reviews, it’s completely unorganized and was forgotten. The nurses and doctors keeps going in and asking what I was in for. There was no communication among the staff and little confidentiality. There was even discussion of some of the supplies being expired and am unsure if they were used or not. The nurses and doctors spend a lot of time talking about everything but their clients as shown by the miscommunication present.
EDIT: A representative reached out to fix things, which I really appreciate.Overall: I highly recommend the staff/doctor, however, if you need to contact them to follow up, dont call the number, youll be sent to an outsourced call center who are terrible. Just go back in or if you have the number for their front desk, call that instead.Original: Went in with a stomach bug, doctor was helpful, a prescription for zofran was being sent in - but pharmacy didnt receive it. called for help and received an outsourced call center, where the the person who answered sounded slurred and bizarre. They assured me it had been sent and that theyd resend it. Still no prescription. Finally the pharmacy called - this time they admitted the script hadnt been sent but promised to do so. They still didnt and closed without sending it. never able to get prescription.
Should have read the reviews before I went! Woke up at 4:00AM with sinus/ear pain, congestion and swelling in the right side of my face. Concerned that I have a sinus infection as I have had this before. Called at 8:00AM when they opened and was told it was a 3 hour wait so I made an appointment for 1:40. Isn’t this urgent care??? Got a negative COVID test which I suspected. Waited 30 minutes for a PA Stillwell who was young, rude and dismissive. She saw me for a total of 30 seconds and said it was, “viral” and I should take Motrin. I asked her for a antibiotic and she refused, insisting it was viral. How did she determine this??? She said that she would prescribe me Flonase and steroids. I told her that Flonase gives me nose bleeds and I would be concerned about taking steroids due to the side effects. Again, I explained that I have had this before and responded well to antibiotics. She refused to listen or write me a prescription. I will be contacting a primary care physician now as Northwell and their provider should be concerned with the dangers of an untreated sinus infection. I will NEVER go to this urgent care again and warn others to steer clear!!!
I needed an antibiotic. I clearly had a sinus infection. They prescribed me steroids and no antibiotics. I called back the next day to get a prescription for antibiotics. They told me to come back in. What so they could charge me for another office visit when I was there the day before? I refused. They told me the dr would call me back and never did. Very unprofessional. Don’t go here!
Dr was thorough, nice and I didnt wait to see her.
My experience at the facility was good. Got stitches and was told to go to their portal to set up a follow up appointment to get the stitches removed. Their portal is an endless loop that makes me want to chew the stitches out myself. Thought I’d get help through their on line chat. Another endless loop. Unless someone helps me I’ll never get them out. My frustration level is at a 10. All I can say is patient beware.
My Dr at my urgent care visit was Dr Steele. She was fantastic. I would choose her for my primary care physician if she was with a practice.
Professional and friendly staff. Prompt and effective care.
Location great! Office staff great! Medical Assistant great! PA who saw my husband and myself great! The cleanliness of GoHealth is noteworthy as well.
Not happy at all. I tested positive for Covid at home so I made an early appointment.Medical assistant walked into the room and ask why I was there. I told her I tested positive for Covid and had a violent cough that kept me up at night. She asked ME what I wanted them to do about it. I told her that they are the medical professionals and hoped that THEY can tell me what to expect. After she left , another PA came into the exam room and after reviewing the options of antiviral meds, I decided to forego that option.I simply asked for a prescription for an effective cough medication, so it was called in to my pharmacy. When my wife went to pick it up it was an weak over the counter tablet . I called back GoHealth and was told that there was NO Doctor there authorized to prescribe an effective CONTROLLED medication (Robitussin A-C for example)Useless visit accomplished nothing.
Like all Northwell offices, the place was immaculate and the staff was professional, helpful and explained everything. I made my appointment online and had no wait.Recommend!
Super clean facility. Front desk staff is always nice and friendly. If youre lucky enough to see Dr. Steele. She is truly amazing! Literally, better experiences with her at urgent care than ANY PCP ive seen. Would have given 5 stars, but ive had pretty bad experiences here in regards to lack of care when seeing anyone else.
This place is a disgrace. They have fraudulently billed us for 2 covid PCR tests for $1095!!!! At no time did they say the PCR test would be billed as an urgent care visit. Our insurance Fidelis won’t pay and GoHealth refuse to change the billing codes. Do not go to this urgent care. This in my view is fraud!!!!!
The doctor was absolutely amazing the staff was kind and helpful and knowledgeable. The entire experience was such a pleasure and put my mind at ease additionally I feel better in one day.
This place is a hot mess.First I was forgotten about in my room for 45 minutes and then another patient was sent to my room! Then after reminding them that I was still there I wasn’t seen for another 10 minutes. Then once I was finally seen and given my test I was told to wait outside for 10 minutes in my car and then to return for my results. I walked back in and was told I need to leave because my results were not ready. Why can’t my results be sent to a patient portal instead of me walking back-and-forth in and out of the building potentially being exposed to Covid as well as exposing other people? I felt very forgotten about. They were extremely disorganized.Second, they gave me my results out loud in front of 10 other people, where’s the confidentiality in that? I understand that times are tough during Covid but a little more organization would be appreciated. I won’t be coming back to this place.
I went there today, 06/02/23. I have to say that I was a little worried about going there because of the reviews, but I received exceptional attention from the front desk to the nurse and then the Dr. They were kind, respectful, and professional. Sad the other were having a bad experience.
Looks like there is a pattern here.... I went because it was convenient and looked clean but the care is subpar. Was given steroid for a sinus infection had to make 2 trips for same issue. Paid twice.... just to get the eventual antibiotic I needed. I will not be returning. Typical Northwell.
This facility is wonderful!! Caring , professional staff especially Dr Steele who goes above and beyond for her patients. Excellent care and the facility is spotless.
Terrible place. I was asked by my job to get a Covid Test for a work event on March 1st. This Northwell Urgent Care told me there would be no Copay. A month later my credit card was charged for a Copay. I visited this office 4 times & this smooth talker in the desk told me he would call me back. Never heard from him. I called my Insurance Company & they confirmed I should not have been charged a Copay for a Covid test. They put in a separate false claim for an office visit which my insurance company said they should not have done. A different Northwell office in Levittown never charged me a Copay in December for Covid Test. These guys are unethical for putting in false claims and poor service. Stay away.
We took my sister-in-law to the E. Main St, Huntington location due to an ankle injury. She was visiting from out of town. The receptionist was incredibly rude. I called him out on his rudeness. We left the location and she received a call 20 minutes later stating that he was canceling her appointment because he felt threatened by my words. When I challenged him, he ended the call. If he felt so threatened, why did he make the call and then engage me in conversation. I hope Northwell has cameras, with audio, in its locations and records their phone calls. I will never step foot again in any urgent care location. Her needs were quickly addressed at the hospital in Huntington! Unfortunately, we are forced to give one star, but I would give none.
Guy at the front desk was extremely rude and refused my covid test that I had a scheduled appointment for because I had no symptoms and did not wait the full 4 days to get tested since returning to NY. He then talked down to me saying that I should be quarantining right now (which I had been carefully doing, other than leaving my house to get the test), as if I intentionally knew I was breaking the rules and being careless, meanwhile I thought I was doing the responsible thing. Granted I know that is the CDC recommendation to wait the full 4 days, but it had been well over 4 days since the first day of my out of state trip, so whos to say I didnt get it on the first day? And why cant I get the rapid test now to be safe and then return on my fourth day? Also, why allow me to make a scheduled appointment without explicitly mentioning the 4 day rule, and saying they will refuse an appointment if that criteria is not met? Nonetheless, rudeness was not appreciated especially when my intentions were being good
Better options nearby. I experienced an understaffed facility and a very unhappy front desk person who was curt and unapproachable. He was impatient with people and rolled his eyes at one gentleman who wasnt familiar with the electronic check in system. Btw..A.i watched sick person after sick person use this touch screen without it being wiped down, including someone with an eye infection. After waiting an hour and seeing other poor reviews I decided to leave, however I was made to wait five minutes for a refund only to be told he got an error message and would do it later. Went a mile away where there was a full compliment of doctors and staff.
Always clean.. they are always pleasant professionals and very thorough.
Live out of state and had to find an Urgent Care . I did a walk in . It was about an hour wait time , , but felt was a through exam.
Inexperienced doctors or phys asst?my son had high fever / red painful glands with white spots fluid behind his ears and they did not perform a strep test. im in healthcare, why not a strep test seems pretty logical plus we asked multiple times for thisthey had 2 different doctors came in and claimed it was viral🙁
Terrible experience, and even worse follow-up. Started with rude receptionist. Went in for sinus/ear pain, and was advised theres nothing wrong, just take a COVID test. Called back a week later with severe ear pain and was asked to come in again. Not paying another outrageous co-pay for the same symptoms. Wish UrgentCare never sold out.
The care and diagnoses I received was great. I went to a different urgent care and didnt get diagnosed correctly. My exam and xray at Northwell was done quickly. Thanks to them I was able to avoid hospitalization and now recovering.
OMG! Scheduled 1:45 appt., 6 other people still waiting 1 hr to be seen. So far waiting 45 min for a simple rapid pcr. Don’t come here if you are sick, there is nothing “urgent” about this Urgent Care Center
DO NOT waste your time even stepping foot in this urgent care. I walked in and checked in on the ipad by the front door and was then prompted to take a seat and finish registration using the link sent to my phone. I sat down and immediately the lady at the front desk rudely raised her voice at me from across the room, ordering me to leave and saying I couldn’t be in there because “there’s covid, don’t you know that!”. She said she would call me when it was time to come in. I went to my car and waited 30 minutes with no call before leaving. There was only one patient there and nobody else in the parking lot. TWO HOURS LATER I get a text to come inside. TERRIBLE customer service here. Complete waste of my time, never again. Would give 0 stars if I could.
Worst place... will not ever step foot into a Northwell facility. The actions of this just one employee that I am not able to verify because he wasn’t wearing a name badge to identify him self, but when I had asked him for his name and he replied he’s name was Justin. His actions were enough in which I felt discriminated. I was denied access to the facility while everyone else wasn’t nor asked the questions I was asked outside the door. I had requested to speak with a manager and Justin replied he was the manager, and I had requested to speak someone else or above him he than said he was it. I had than called the facility and there was in fact someone else that was a manager that I was able to speak with with. Justin had lied and refused my request. His actions were an acceptable and inappropriate. I will definitely take my business somewhere else in which I will be treated equally not based on my race nor less my appearance.
My 92 year old mom got tested on December 26 and never got the results. I think it’s a disgrace that this happened after spending the time to come there and getting tested. There’s no reason for this to happen. We have used other northwell urgent care locations that were very efficient in giving the Covid test results. Shame on your place! I did email wecare northwell and never got a response. You’re place is disgusting to do such a terrible thing and I would never recommend your location!
Dr was excellent. He took the time to explain my options.
This place used to be Cure urgent care brand new facility but taken over by Northwell. All the coffees or children books are gone - well coming here is for treatment so not a big deal. The receptionist is cold and indifferent- well that doesn’t matter as we were taken in by the nurse rather quickly. To our surprise the doctor is very professional- unlike Cure, didn’t push unnecessary tests but offered treatment plan and prescriptions explaining everything clearly. The reason I only rated one star is their prescription system not working with the local CVS - After all the fuss a day later , we still haven’t figured out whose fault it is that CVS doesn’t have the prescriptions. CVS told us that they constantly ran into the problems with Northwell Urgent care not having the said prescription when customers tried to pick up. When I called Urgent care, rather than saying they can contact CVS to straighten out the issue, the receptionist asked me to have CVS contact them. I mentioned CVS said urgent care electric system is problematic and she said , well that’s the first time we ever hear the complaint. So I have to call CVS back again acting the go-between - I need the medicine . I guess Northwell is taking over every medical operations filling in the operation with indifference staffs. Hopefully we can get prescriptions not another sleepless night ...
Went in - sent me home with nothing accomplished. Except some bogus information about rare tick bit diseases. Was aPAAll she needed to do is check my throat as my Doctor did- she would’ve seen the viral blisters.Took my tempMy blood pressureThis was a joke visit.Be careful
NP was thorough and showed concern for my needs
Great doctors, and fast service when you use their easy to use portal to book in advance! Thanks for everything.
Dr Steele is amazing! The staff got me in and out within 15 minutes, were incredibly accommodating and super nice. The doctors and nurse practitioners are super smart and incredibly helpful I would absolutely recommend again!!
No wait time, friendly staff, profesional and personable doctor. Overall a great experience
My wife called to verify the x-ray was there and wait times. Went to the center and they had an x-ray machine and no tech. The front desk called Commack to verify they had an x-ray tech. Commack had an x-ray tech and a broken x-ray machine. Wasted 2 hours driving around to end up at the ER anyway.
No waiting with the pre check in process. Everyone was very friendly.
Careful with these people. Will charged your card a certain ammount on site but charge whtever they feel like afterwards. I went for a covid tes and the charged me $75 on site. A few days after I see a charge of $200 that I NEVER authorized. I called and talked to a lady who said they issue was going to get resolved but that was another lie. These people will literally steal from you. DO NOT go there.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! My fiancé went here for her COVID vaccination which was scheduled a week prior. They told her their system had a glitch and did nothing about it. They didn’t call or email those people. They said “nothing they can do”. I would never go here for anything medical related.
Just called to see if they did a carbon monoxide blood test. The individual who answered the phone was quite rude and she said she had never heard of that before. 1. Be Nicer. 2. If I am calling about a carbon monoxide test, clearly I have been exposed- so maybe dont sound so eager to get off the phone. Perhaps be kind and helpful.
I have tried several times over a couple of days to reach someone live but no luck - I needed someone to corrected my vaccine record as I was denied excelsior pass due to wrong data entry in this facility and was told NYS to get my record corrected at this facility. I’ll never visit this place again. Very frustrated and can’t get my record corrected. I’ll be writing a letter to corporate office to file a complaint and to NYS
Jennifer Steele is amazing. My wife and I both went. Her bedside manor is great and she’s very personable
Went here with complaints of fever, green mucous production, cough, chills. Prescribed steroids. Never got better and today I was diagnosed with pneumonia.
100% agree with the previous reviews about the girl at the front desk- rude and obnoxious is actually a complete understatement. I would never go there again, I have never experienced such an unprofessional office, it’s extremely disturbing considering it’s a medical office.
Very nice experience. Everyone was friendly and the Doctor was very helpful.
No wait. Dr. Was very professional. She didn’t rush and explained everything in clear and understandable language.
In and out in less than 10 minutes at this immaculate and efficient location! Reception, nurse and PA were fast and knowledgeable and super friendly.I highly recommend this urgent care facility.
Do not ever go here, you are better off going to huntington hospital emergency room for faster timesWorkers are completely inept, and have no clue what they are doingIf you have to travel an extra 40 miles to go to a different place to do it because it will be worth you’re timeDoes not matter if you make an appointment or walk in it is all awful but hey this is the standard now
Easy. Convenient. Competent docs and staff. Thank you.
This place is awesome! Great doctors and staff! I recommended the facility to my friend, who is a nurse, and she also found the facility to be super clean, convenient with excellent service!
Efficiency of the staff and the doctor takes the time to discuss your concerns
You are better off going to CVS and asking the pharmacist, or a random shopper, for advice.
Doctor Steele ( i think was her name) was very thorough and explained everything clearly.
Friendly staff and only a few minutes of waiting.
The cost of my quick sick visit was more than double what it cost just months earlier when it was a Cure Urgent Care.
I’ve been here a few time for quick, garden-variety ailments. Staff was polite, doctors took the time to listen and diagnose/prescribe. No complaints.
Got right in no wait at all and Dr. Steel was great!
Dr green was wonderful took the time to talk to me about my symptoms. Really eased my anxiety. Thank you Dr. Green ❤️
Horrible customer service. They tell you one thing over the phone and something else in person. You make an appointment and they take people without appointments and with later times before you. Stay away.
$470 visit in-network with insurance for a 5 minute appointment to listen to me breath. TOTAL RIP OFF AVOID.
My husband and I really like this place. Super clean, super quick and they make it easy. We never had any issues.
Very professional and caring.
Easy access to medical help and extremely professional staff and service.
P.A. Christina Stillwell fixed my dislocated finger (basketball jammed finger) with ease, and her demeanor was wonderful.
This location is always very efficient , little to no wait. Very clean
Whoever answered the phone when I called was extremely rude and didn’t seem to like her job at all. I would strongly consider and recommend going somewhere else.
Staff unhelpful and lacking urgency in ensuring I was able to get a necessary prescription in a timely fashion for a serious health condition. Will not use them in future.
Terrible, man at the desk was eating his sandwich, was rude and obnoxious. Dr. was just o.k. I will never go there again
Northwell is a nightmare. Theyre destroying healthcare
Clean, courteous, and did not have to wait long.
Dr explained everything so thoroughly !In and out quickly
Amazing care and nice staff
Waited an hour for an EKG that they first couldn’t find then couldn’t work. Don’t go here if you value your health or sanity.
Too long of a WAIT!!
They charged me and didnt even know what price to charge me was 😡🤬
Professional, caring medical team.
Quick service
Quick professional
Slowest place ever. Don’t go here
Fast, friendly and knowledgeable.
